Former SAFM music director Aiden Grant now assistant content director at 1079 Life Adelaide

The former music director at Southern Cross Austereo’s (SCA) Hit107/SAFM, Aiden Grant, is now assistant content director at 1079 Life in Adelaide.

1079 Life is a Christian radio station, owned by Christian Radio Incorporated, where Grant also acts as the Drive announcer.

Throughout his career, Grant has been a Breakfast announcer on Power FM in both Muswellbrook and Ballarat. He was then music director and Drive announcer on KRock and BayFM, before making the move to SCA, where he was an announcer and music director between 2014 and 2018. Since then, he has been a part-time radio announcer on Nova.

He joined 1079 Life in January 2019 as creative director.

Grant told Radio Today: “This is a great opportunity that I have been working hard to get to. I can only presume that it comes with a large pay increase, right?”
