AFTRS podcast a finalist in 2025 International Student Broadcasting Championship

Once Upon a Lie – the creative, collaborative podcast by AFTRS Graduate Diploma Radio and Podcasting students – has been officially named among the finalists in the Best New Podcast category at the International Student Broadcasting Championship (ISBC) for 2025.

Launched late last month, the podcast explores the sinister origins of the world’s most beloved fairytales, revealing the cultural, historical and psychological threads behind the stories that have endured for generations.

The judges highlighted creativity, storytelling and overall skill.

The ISBC Finale will stream live tomorrow (Tuesday 18 November).
