ABC Jazz celebrates 10th birthday

ABC Jazz has officially hit double digits, turning 10 years old today (July 1).

The digital station was launched in line with the inception of DAB+ Digital radio in 2009.

In 2018, ABC Jazz was the #1 digital-only radio station in Australia, and they’re still putting up impressive numbers this year to date.

ABC Jazz is celebrating across the day, with Mal Stanley & Jessica Nicholas will be playing their 10-year highlights all day long.

From 5.30pm, James Valentine will share the best ABC Jazz recordings from the past decade, then at 7pm join Monica Trapaga has a birthday Dinner Set planned.

Plus, Home Cooked will be spinning the best Australian Jazz albums of the last decade after 10pm.
