ABC doubles down on fresh comedy talent with Granny Bingo podcast

Dust off your doilies. The ABC has launched Another Cuppa? with Granny Bingo, a new video podcast which premieres today (Thursday, May 14^th).

Hosted by naughty nannas Edith Vale and Maureen McGillicuddy, Another Cuppa? with Granny Bingo is not your typical chat show.

The weekly series sees a brave line up of guests including Josh Thomas, Poh Ling Yeow, Myf Warhurst and Rhys Nicholson inside the grannies’ nostalgic living room for a cuppa and a heavy dose of sass.

Rather than gassing up their guests, Edith and Maureen prefer to keep them on edge. Guests are thrown as Edith and Maureen derail their own questions, spiralling down pearl-clutching tangents where even Australia’s most polished celebrities are kept on their toes – often unsure whether they’re being interviewed, roasted, or lovingly ambushed.

Known for their long-running, sold-out live comedy drag show Granny Bingo, Edith and Maureen have built a loyal following with their irreverent character comedy, foul-mouthed wit and refusal to play by traditional bingo rules – or any rules, really.
