A star is born: Fox FM’s Fifi Box makes her musical theatre debut
Fifi Box from The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick Breakfast show has made her musical theatre debut in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast The Musical, stepping onto the stage at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne for a special guest appearance.
A self-confessed Disney superfan, Fifi was gifted the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by her co-hosts Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody as a surprise for her birthday.
Speaking ahead of the performance, Fifi said: “This might be the best present you’ve ever given me! This is a lot! I can’t believe it.”

Taking on the role of Marie, the baker’s wife, Fifi appeared in two scenes throughout the production, including the high-energy, crowd-favourite number, ‘Gaston’, and the opening number, ‘Bonjour.’
Her cameo appearance and two lines – including “The baguettes! Hurry up!” were warmly received by the audience.
Fifi said the cast was very supportive.
“They were so welcoming. I feel like I’m part of their family now. I feel like they’re my theatre family.”
The first number is not called “Bonjour,” it’s called “Belle”
