92.9’s suburban songs go to a new level

Lisa, Paul and Baz’s Suburban Songs on 92.9 have been going for a couple of years now, but the show have taken them to a new level.

Over the past weeks, listeners were asked to pick a song, write the lyrics and email in their own suburban song. It was one about the Perth suburb of Morley written and produced by a local Perth rapper, Crisis Mr Swagger, that made them think he deserved more than just a play on the radio.

Paul Hogan said: “His Morley Suburban Song had to be made into a video clip. When people think music video they’ve thought LA, they’ve thought Miami. Now they think Morley!”

The rapper thanked 92.9 saying: “….every musician wants the world to hear their music. Lisa, Paul and Baz have done a great job for me in that area.”
