89.9 TheLight’s Lucy Holmes celebrates 17 years on Melbourne Breakfast radio

Celebrations are in order for Lucy Holmes, as she marks 17 years on air – in the same seat and on the same Breakfast show at Melbourne’s 89.9 TheLight.

Together with her brekky co-host and hubby Kel McWilliam, they’re one of the city’s most enduring on-air teams.

Lucy posted to social media, saying “Proud to be one of the longest-running radio hosts in the country … cannot wrap my head around that! And our last survey was one of our biggest numbers wise. Amazing.”

“Thank you so much for embracing me for so long. I can’t actually quite believe it. Here’s to celebrating this milestone and looking ahead to another incredible year of connecting, sharing, and speaking with all of you. Let’s do this.”
