2UE tweaks lineup

2UE has made changes to its weekday lineup, to start from this coming Monday.

Current Morning Presenter, David Oldfield will move to evenings and will be replaced in mornings by Stuart Bocking in a move (Bockings) that Fairfax have described as 'until further notice'.

The change of lineup coincides with the introduction of Steve Price to 2GB evenings from Monday.

2UE’s General Manager, Chris Parker (right), commented on Oldfields new timeslot; 

“David’s not afraid to say what most people think and he knows Sydney intimately. He’s frank, up-front and pulls no punches. But the difference with David is that he is courteous, sincere and totally “fair dinkum.”'

Oldfield said in the statement the move to “Nights delivers the perfect forum for me and my audience to connect and be honest and intimate with each other about the issues that really do matter.”

The impression from the Fairfax communication is that whilst the Oldfield move appears a permanent one, Bocking may be warming the seat until a more definitive option presents itself.
