2ser teams up with UTS to launch ‘Think: Business Future’ podcast

Former Assistant Editor

2ser has launched a brand new podcast today in partnership with the University of Technology, Sydney titled Think: Business Futures.

It is hosted by Nicole Sutton and David Brown and aims to get listeners thinking critically about current business issues from circular consumption in fashion to the gig economy.

The pod also promises “cutting-edge research coupled with real world examples to unpack what is actually going on in the business world.”

“Audio is the perfect format for a show like Think: Business Futures,” says presenter David Brown.

“While we will be interviewing and drawing upon the knowledge of ‘the experts’, we’re not interested in telling listeners what to think. Rather, we want to peel back the layers of a business story to pique the listeners’ interests further.”

The first two episodes, ‘Gigging: What is the definition of a worker and why does it matter’ and ‘The Circular Economy’ are both available from today, May 1.

“We’re excited to expand under the THINK banner a show exploring business,” says 2ser station manager Melanie Withnall.

“There’s obviously a lot of interest in this area, with everyone talking about the future of work, and what Think: Business Futures contributes to the conversation is that it tackles these topics and challenges conventional wisdom with academic rigour.”

The podcast is available on podcasting apps, as well as at Whooskhaa and the 2ser website. It is also re-broadcast on Sunday mornings at 10:30am on 2ser 107.3 FM.
