2GB’s Jason Kerr produces final show

After 30 years of producing at 2GB, 49-year-old Jason Kerr signed off after completing his final radio show last night.

Beginning at the station in 1992, Jason produced the highly successful Sunday Night Crews program for 15 of his 30 years at 2GB. 

Under his direction, the program went to number one in Sydney and has stayed there for much of that time. 

More recently, Kerr steered the show to number one in Brisbane. 

Rev. Bill Crews, host of Sunday Night Crews, said he will miss Kerr. 

“I am really sad to see Jason go after all these years,” said Crews.

“I will miss him greatly. But this will not be the end of our relationship though, it will just move in a different direction.”

Jason intends to concentrate on his multimedia consultancy business upon departure. He says he’s also looking forward to spending more time with his husband Geoff Field.
