After becoming a smash hit success in the Sunshine State, 2DayFM is finally bringing Pub Choir to Sydney for two special performances.

Hit Network’s Gemma Fordham is ecstatic that the QLD staple is coming down south.

“At the Hit Network we believe that music belongs to everybody, so we are encouraging our 2DayFM listeners to come along for a night out with their friends and family, enjoy a drink and simply sing!”

Choir director Astrid Jorgensen will host two free evenings of music mastery at the end of June where she will teach an audience of hundreds a song in three-part harmony in only 90 minutes.

“Everybody can sing, and Pub Choir is on a mission to prove it! There are no auditions, no solos, no long-term commitments and no pressure!” Jorgensen said.

“All you need to do is come to the pub, grab a bevvie, make a few hundred new best friends, and be willing to try something new.”

Jorgensen and her roaming choir have hit in big in Queensland since their video of them covering The Cranberries classic ‘Zombie’ was shared by the band themselves and topped over 4.7 million views on Facebook alone.

Jorgenson will be at The Rocks on 26 and 27 of June at The Argyle with 2DayFM brekkie show hosts Em RuscianoGrant Denyer and Ed Kavalee; head over here to reserve tickets.
