UPDATE: Kyle has just released this statement: “ARN has just announced that they’ve terminated my contract. I don’t accept it.” Full statement here.
Kyle Sandilands has reiterated his desire to keep doing the KIIS Network’s Kyle & Jackie O Show, after being doorstopped by media crews outside his Sydney home this afternoon.
Yesterday was the final day of his two week deadline to rectify the breach of his ARN’s services agreement.
Sandilands said “I can’t say too much because I haven’t heard anything yet. I still want to do the show. The listeners want me back on there doing the show.”
More to come.

Edit…
Sydney listeners,not much Melbourne….
Do the shareholders want him back? That’s another question.
@jason – the Shareholders absolutely DO NOT want kyle or jackie back – ARN owes K&J approx 160 to 170 million over the next 8 years – market cap is 106 million and ARN are 60 odd million in debt with measly NPAT of 6 million
even if the legal process costs 80 million its a win for shareholders – the issue will be that ARN will have to borrow the money for any payout and what bank is going to do that with 6 million in NPAT ( although they have cleared the onerous contract)
at 11x times multiple ARN is only worth about 66 to 70 million at the moment
It’s a mess
