RTRFM all ready for 2026 Radiothon

Perth-based community station RTRFM is gearing up for its annual Radiothon, which kicks off on Friday August 14 and runs until the end of September.

Every year in August, RTRFM calls on the community to chip in to help cover its operating expenses and help keep the station fiercely independent.

The theme for Radiothon 2026 is ‘RTRFM, It’s Good for You’, highlighting how listening in and being involved in the station provides everything a healthy body needs.

Now in its 49th year, the station is aiming to raise $350,000 to ensure it can keep broadcasting for decades to come.

Radiothon will kick off at 6am on Friday August 14 from Local and Aesthetic with a live edition of Breakfast with Pam, followed by celebratory events at The Rechabite and The Bird as part of RTRFM’s annual Radiothon Party on Saturday August 29.
