Survey #1 2017: Roma, QLD results are in

The first ever radio survey results for the Queensland region of Roma in the state’s south-east corner have been released. The region is serviced by commercial stations Hit95.1 Maranoa and 4ZR AM.

Overall, Hit95.1 Maranoa is the #1 station with a total listenership of 29.7% in the 10+ market. 4ZR AM follows with a respectable 23.9%, while ABC Southern Queensland takes a significant chunk of the listenership with 22.5%.

Hit95.1 enjoys a 7.5 point buffer at breakfast with Hamish & Gabi comfortably beating out both 4ZR and ABC, earning 27.3% and 21.6%, respectively.

It’s a closer contest at drive as the Hit Network’s Hamish & Andy take out another regional #1 with 31.7% of the total listenership, the highest share by any station across all sessions in Roma. 4ZR comes within 2.6 points of first place with 29.1%.

Out of the seven regional surveys released thus far in 2017, the win in Roma marks Hamish & Andy’s fifth #1 crown in the drive slot, the other regions being Esperance (WA), Mount Isa (QLD), Dubbo (NSW) and Kingaroy (QLD).
