Sporting Podcast ‘Legends with Bevo’ passes 150 episodes
Bevan Jones began his career as a solo breakfast announcer in South Australia before setting his sights on the world of Podcasting.
Beginning in 2018, after coffee with friend and four time Olympian, Phil Smyth, ‘Legends with Bevo’ now has over 150 episodes available on all major podcast streaming services.
Legends with Bevo hosts Olympians, AFL stars and other legends in a down to earth and friendly format that updated “semi-weekly.”
Host, Bevan Jones, of ‘Legends with Bevo,’ said: “The idea was to get different guests to share their footy tips and lift the lid on the real stories behind the headlines. We uncover the ultimate highs and tear-jerking lows of a variety of guests in a humorous and light-hearted chat, with plenty of banter mixed in as well.”
“Since starting the show, I have been incredibly fortunate to interview over 150 past and present sports people, entertainment icons and those doing great things in the community. They have come on the show and shared their stories some of which people may have never heard before.”
A recent special edition of the show, ‘The Road to Tokyo,’ Bevo hosted past and present Olympians to gain insight into what it’s like to compete on the world’s biggest stage.
In an upcoming podcast, Bevo will be speaking with Masterchef legend, Matt Preston.
Legends with Bevo is available to stream on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and videos can be found on YouTube.
