SEN agrees to terms to purchase Racing & Wagering WA audio assets
Sports Entertainment Group (SEG), operating as Sports Entertainment Network (SEN), has announced it has agreed to terms to acquire the audio broadcasting assets of Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA).
The potential deal to acquire TABradio – Western Australia’s dedicated racing and sports audio station – is paired with a four-year content and marketing partnership with RWWA across the SEN national ecosystem, and a similar non-exclusive partnership with TABtouch in Western Australia.
The acquisition, which remains subject to due diligence, is expected to be completed in November, 2025.
This strategic move builds on SEN’s recent momentum in the racing category, following its acquisition of RSN earlier this year.
As part of the potential acquisition, RWWA’s audio assets would operate alongside existing racing brands RSN and SENTrack, amplifying the reach, quality and consistency of racing content nationwide.
SEN CEO Craig Hutchison said “We’re thrilled to have reached terms and to partner with RWWA and bring Western Australian racing into the SEN audio and digital family.”
“We are committed to growing WA racing nationally and look forward to partnering RWWA to engage the codes to broader and new audiences around Australia.”
“This potential acquisition is another strong signal of our commitment to the racing industry and its passionate audience.”

Great article Sarah
Great move Craig Hutchison lllll in buying TAB RADIO Perth
The ACCC must exercise its legislative duty to curb the anti competitive acquisitions of these racing radio stations. SEG should be the competitor rather than acquiring.
Probably a bad move considering Racing is dying a slow death. Not much room for growth.
I have not been able to hear a race on saturday since you took over from racing radio from Brisbane Sydney Melbourne and Adelaide and i have just had a bet at the dogs and got a cricket and a result of the dog race I know i am from WA but i like to bet across the board
