SCA: more online traffic than everyone else

Southern Cross Austereo drives more daily content online than the rest of commercial radio combined.

The company engages over 56% of the total national commercial radio audience across its digital assets, according to Nielsen’s May 2014 Market Intelligence online results.

The research shows the Today and Triple M networks are the number one and two online radio brands in Australia, ranked by average daily unique browsers.

SCA’s national network average daily online traffic increased 55% year-on-year and SCA is Australia’s biggest radio publisher online across all devices with 189,175 daily uniques.

SCA is also the fifth biggest mobile publisher in the media industry and the second most mobile-optimised publisher (behind Mamamia) in Australia, with 70% of SCA’s digital audience engaging with its mobile sites

Southern Cross Austereo Director of Digital and Innovation Clive Dickens said: “With more

strongest ever position to drive more digital-led solutions in our category.”
