SCA drops Loveland for MORE

Following the launch of The Range on DAB+ earlier in the week, Southern Cross Austereo has dropped it’s ‘Loveland’ digital station, replacing it with a new DAB+ brand called ‘MORE Digital’.

MORE Digital is focused on the 80s and 90s, and will feature Kim Wilde hosting an 80s show weekdays AEST from 10am.

Artists in the opening imaging montage were; Aha, Michael Jackson, D:Ream, Montell Jordan and Fine Young Cannibals.

SCA Digital Radio Content Director Jaime Chaux said:

“80s and 90s pop is so good.. so many stars came from this era, influencing all the pop sounds of today. But amazingly, it’s hard to hear these songs on FM radio anymore. MORE Digital fills that gap. We can’t wait to get these songs back on-air and with Kim Wilde on board!”
