Serving Country is the new digital-first interview series from iHeartCountry Australia Executive Producer Samantha Clarke, taking the storytelling heart of radio and giving it a modern glow-up for the screen.

Shot in neon light and poured over shot glasses, Serving Country is delivered in short-form video and reimagines how country artists tell their stories: quick, candid and made for the scroll.

Sam, who also works across TikTok Trending, says the idea grew from bridging her two creative worlds.

“Radio taught me how to build connection through sound. TikTok taught me how to hold attention in seconds. Serving Country is where those two meet; real storytelling, but in the language audiences speak now.”

Filmed at Jolene’s Bar in Sydney or backstage before showtime, the series trades stiff press junkets for unfiltered, bar-side moments.

Clarke is part of a new generation of producers reshaping how audiences engage with music storytelling.

With Golden Guitar winners and international names already taking a seat, Serving Country provides a space for artists to drop the polish and talk like people.

I wanted to make something that felt a little more dangerous, a little more real and a little more feminine,” Sam says. “It’s still country, just told with modern vernacular”
