Radio Tinder Marriage

With the Tinder app clocking  millions “swipes” per day back in 2014, 919 Sea FM’s BarRat and Jess fast turned it into an On-Air feature. Back then, Kurt was on the line and on-hold were three ladies waiting to see which way he would “swipe”.

Kristy was the one, followed by a date at the local pub, 3 months later he popped the question.  Kristy’s response: “If you’re serious, you’ll do it nude on the tennis court”. So tennis it was,  on one knee, dropping his towel and popping the question again.

Sunday, Valentine’s Day 2016, they surprised their family and friends as they eloped at Novotel Twin Waters Resort, witnessed by the two that introduced them, BarRat and Jess.

“I’m surprised something we did actually worked”,said BarRat.
