Radio says yes yes yes to ‘Please Please Please’: AirCheck

• Heating Up: Sabrina Carpenter ascends to #15 with ‘Please Please Please’
• Top Debut: The Kid Laroi’s ‘Girls’ earns 254 first-week spins
• Big Mover: ‘Rush’ by Troye Sivan up +56.7%

Sabrina Carpenter is taking over Aussie radio. The US popstar maintains the top spot on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart for a second straight week with ‘Espresso’, while new single ‘Please Please Please’ catapults to #15 on its fourth charting week.

SCA’s Hit Network and the Nova network contributed the majority of the track’s 491 spins. Overall, 21 stations played ‘Please Please Please’ this week, up from 18 the previous week.

The Kid Laroi is back with new song ‘Girls’ which debuts at #31. Sydney’s CADA supplied 45 spins for the Aussie’s new single, backed up strongly by the Hit Network and triple j.

‘Rush’ by Troye Sivan gets a big lift this week, almost one year on from its first play on Australian commercial radio. Nova increased spins by 121.6% across the network, while Hit101.3, Hit106.9 and Sea FM 90.9 notched up 18 spins each.
