On a sleigh to the top of the tree with a side of ‘Podding’

Two Brisbane Radio hosts have had their Christmas Podcast named 3^rd best in the world.

Liam Renton and Vanessa Gibson from ARN Brisbane, have had their podcast, Christmas Podding named among the sauciest as it’s landed a podium finish in the top three Best Christmas Podcasts in the world for 2021.

“We are shocked at the fact we get just as many downloads in June as we do in December,” they said.

“We just seemed to stumble into our tribe, a worldwide bunch of people who seem to love talking Christmas all year round.”

The team who both work on 4KQ and 97.3FM in Brisbane have plans to make an episode every day in December.

“Doing a daily December podcast is a lot of work, but we love it, and feed off the responses we get from those who just want to talk about things like the 15 unexpected things you can do with leftover turkey, inappropriate Christmas gifts, office Christmas party fails and who NOT to invite to this year’s Christmas celebrations.”

The hosts claim to have enough Christmas content to never run out of material – could they soon find their place as the star at the top of the tree?
