Chris Sewell is joining Wave FM Wollongong in June as their afternoon announcer/Social Media Guru.  Chris has been  on breakfast with Star FM Dubbo and behind On-Air and social push to “Bring the Logies to Dubbo”.

Monique Gundry an Advanced Diploma student with North Metropolitan TAFE (formerly Central Institute of Technology) in Leederville, has been recruited by SCA Bunbury’s Imaging and Production Team in a Producer roles.

ARN’s The Edge96.ONE has launched a new weekly show, Niki & Jules, focused on uncovering and featuring new music. Hosted by Niki Koevska and Jules Natoli, both will curate the Niki and Jules’ playlist.

After 23 years on-air, Hilary Barry has decided to depart MediaWorks in New Zealand. Hilary’s multi award winning career began in 1993 as TV3 reporter moving to the 6pm News slot in 2005. In addition to TV3, Hilary spent ten years as a newsreader at More FM and six years at Radio Live, before her current role as presenter on the Paul Henry Show, which spans Radio, TV and web. Hilary Barry said: “I have had a wonderful and varied career at MediaWorks and am very grateful for the opportunity to have worked with some incredibly talented people over the years who have been both mentors and friends.

SBS Radio has appointed Dr Eman Sharobeem to the role of Community Engagement Manager.

Former 4BC News Director Scott Mayman joins the Super Radio Network as the new breakfast presenter on Radio 97 Tweed Heads, 104.1 Gold Coast and 103.5 FM Northern Rivers.

SCA Chairman Peter Bush announced to the market that Kathy Gramp will be stepping down as Non-Executive Director at the June Board meeting.

Rob McCasker will be the new Breakfast Executive Producer/ Anchor for Jodie & Soda on Mix102.3. He joins ARN after 14 years with SCA which includes stints in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in Programing and On-Air. Rob was also the first PD of Hot Tomato on the Gold Coast where he worked for 5 years.
