Each survey we talk to the Group Content Directors and Managers of the major networks. Next is Michael Mason. As Director of Radio, he is the boss of ABC’s talk brands and the triple j Network. Survey #6 – triple j owns 25-39’s in every capital city but one. In the industry’s biggest market Sydney, triple j owns 27 plus percent of 18-24’s – daylight to any commercial station.
Is triple j blazing their own trail, do they follow what commercial operators do? “They are wanting something deeper from their radio”, said Michael.
