Melbourne mum chosen to dig for K & J’s 5 million dollar jackpot

Alicia Thomas – a stay-at-home-mum from the Melbourne suburb of Mernda – has been chosen as the listener to dig for her and her family’s future, as part of Kyle & Jackie O’s 5 Million Dollar Dawn Dig.

The KIIS FM duo will be broadcasting live from St Kilda West Beach tomorrow (Friday) morning from six, where there’ll be some big money prizes buried beneath the sand.

But, of the hundreds of hidden sandbags, only one holds the ultimate $5 million jackpot.

Winning the five mil would be life changing for Alicia, whose partner of 16 years was recently made redundant, leaving the couple and their two kids to move in with her grandparents due to the rising cost of living.

Tomorrow’s event will feature performances by 2025 Australian Idol winner Marshall Hamburger, along with Amy Shark.

There’ll also be a chance for listeners to unearth exclusive prizes – from international holidays to diamond jewellery – in the Second Chance Dig.
