Loz & Thomo take over Triple M’s Weekend Breakfast slot
Fresh off a stint on community radio, Laura O’Callaghan and Mark Thomas – or Loz & Thomo – have debuted on Triple M Adelaide’s Weekend Breakfast program.
The Loz & Thomo show will run from 7am to 9am on weekends.
The duo said they were born to be on the Ms.
“I’m a bit nervous… I haven’t been nervous to do radio for about two and a half years – I was dead inside. It’s exciting to feel something,” O’Callaghan joked in the opening talk break.
Thomas, meanwhile, admitted he used to be a Triple M “prize pig”.
Previously, O’Callaghan and Thomas were on Adelaide’s Fresh 92.7 in the Breakfast slot for three years. They were the station’s longest full-time Breakfast offering, broadcasting over 700 shows.
They announced their departure in March.
The Johnny & Davo program has since taken over on Fresh 92.7.
Triple M and its owner Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) have been approached for comment.
