Lauren Joyce on her new ARN role: “This is a responsibility I do not take lightly”
As she prepares to assume her new role as ARN’s Chief Audience and Content Officer, Lauren Joyce says it’s a responsibility she doesn’t take lightly.
Joyce shared her excitement on LinkedIn, saying she’s proud to lead a team of expert content creators, marketers, publicists and researchers – all accountable for growing ARN’s audiences across all channels.
After 15 years as ARN’s Chief Content Officer Duncan Campbell will now transition to a consulting and advisory role.
Joyce says working hand in glove with Campbell – someone she regards as both a colleague and a friend – has been a privilege.
“As Chief Content Officer, he has been generous with his time, advice and sharing of knowledge.”
“I have asked him a million questions and probably said ‘but why’ more times than a four year old, so as I embark on this new chapter, I’m appreciative that he’ll be by my side at ARN, continuing to impart his knowledge and deft touch to our content.”
Joyce first joined ARN in April 2019 as its National Strategy Director.
She was promoted to the role of Chief Strategy & Connections Officer the following year.
Joyce previously worked at Mamamia and IPG agencies UM and Ensemble, where she led the content strategy for some of Australia’s biggest brands.
She notes that the world of media is in a state of constant flux, and believes ARN is the best place for her to lead through that change.
“We are a powerhouse of entertainment brands and seeing the way that our audiences respond and connect with those brands each day, is a constant reminder that as humans, we crave connection with other humans.”
“It’s through this lens that I’ll be approaching my new challenge!”
She’s a good egg at A R N.
Hopefully she can whip up the toxic culture in the workplace…
ARN leading the way in change ? Lololol More like leading the way in sackings and redundancies
