Jase and Lauren give away $50K

Jase and Lauren’s $50k Hide and Seek came to an end late last week after the pair were found by Essendon school teacher and mother, Bridie.

The KIIS 101.1 pair were in hiding for 32 hours, 21 minutes and 5 seconds before they were found at the Brighton Town Hall, making listener Bridie the lucky winner of $50K.

“What a moment. After 32 hours, 21 minutes and 5 seconds, Bridie knocked on the door and picked up the cash. And what a moment it was,” Jase Hawkins said.

Lauren Phillips added, “It was amazing, wasn’t it? And Bridie is a teacher who is on maternity leave, gosh our teachers have done it tough in the past few years and do some amazing work.”

“We are in the hall bit but there are other parts attached to the building where all sorts of things happen. There is a gallery that has people coming and going – now and again we would have to stop in our tracks and not make a sound,” Lauren said.

Jase and Lauren kicked off their Hide and Seek on Tuesday, drip-feeding clues on KIIS every hour as well as dropping clues on Instagram to help listeners find them hidden in Melbourne.
