Coffs Coast’s Hit 105.5 Comedy Club returns

Reporter

Coffs Coast’s Hit 105.5 is gearing up for the return of the Hit 105.5 Comedy Club, hosted by Coffs Coast’s very own Ben Stevenson.

Featuring local and national comedic talents, the event will be held at the Seaview Tavern this Friday, July 26.

Perth Fringe award winner Jacques Barrett will be the headline act, supported by the likes of Daniel Holt, Chris Martin and Nana Glen local Kelly Mac.

Ben himself is a nationally recognised comedian. His solo show ‘Ratbag’ recently toured Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Newcastle and Darwin.

Ben’s accolades include winning the Darwin Fringe Festival’s Best Comedy Show award in 2023 and the ACRA for Best Comedy Segment in 2021.

Ben says “Performing in front of live audiences is one of my favourite things to do. Being able to connect with our listeners and come together for a laugh is a real treat. I’m excited to host this night and introduce the Coffs Coast to some of the funniest people I get to share the stage with all over Australia.”

SCA Coffs Harbour General Manager Luke Campbell says “Shortly after arriving in Coffs Harbour, I saw Ben perform live. Watching him bounce off the crowd and keep them laughing, it became a no-brainer that this would be a great way to extend both Ben’s and the station’s brand in a local capacity.”

Tickets are currently on sale for the Hit 105.5 Comedy Club. More info here.

Listen to Mornings with Ben from 9am-12pm, on Coffs Coast’s Hit 105.5 or on LiSTNR.

This is great News. Coffs is a Great Place for Comedy.

Just to Clarify as the Article has some confusion.

The show is FRIDAY JULY 26 at the Seaview Tavern Woolgoolga (North of Coffs)

It is a great venue I did a show there as part of the Buskers Festival Back in 2019

Thanks Sarah It is also the Seaview not “Seaside” Tavern. Other than that we are good to go without Paul Barry poking his nosey nose in here. hehe
