Changes to 107.1 SAFM Breakfast Show

SCA has announced changes to its SAFM Adelaide Breakfast show for 2023, which will also see an immediate adjustment for the remainder of this year.
The Bec, Cosi and Lehmo show will finish up today, Friday 28 October, after three years on air together.
Anthony ‘Lehmo’ Lehmann joined the SAFM Breakfast show with Rebecca Morse and Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello in July 2020 when the heritage local brand SAFM returned to Adelaide.
The trio has woken up the city’s listeners for the last three years.
A fresh approach to the Breakfast show will commence in January 2023.
SCA Chief Content Officer Dave Cameron says “Bec, Cosi and Lehmo are all well respected and loved Adelaide personalities, and we thank this show for entertaining Adelaide at breakfast time for the last four years.”
“SAFM is an iconic Australian radio brand that has had many of Adelaide’s and Australia’s biggest personalities as part of its line-up over the years, and we look forward to announcing our fresh approach in 2023 to SAFM Breakfast in due course. I’d also like to thank Cosi for his last four years with the station, on top of the previous stints over the last two decades that Cosi has had with SAFM, and we wish him well for the future.”
SCA Head of General Management James Pedersen says “Adelaide is a vibrant radio market and Bec, Cosi and Lehmo have helped make the return of SAFM a success, for which I would like to thank them all.”
In addition, Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello will leave the show from today, 28 October. Bec and Lehmo will return on 2 November to continue on SAFM Breakfast until the last show for the year on 25 November.
An announcement regarding the new SAFM Breakfast show for 2023 will be made shortly

Complete rubbish, think we won’t be listening to the radio anymore there’s no one worth listening to, they keep breaking up the good Adelaide teams and leaving the rubbish interstate ones.
Shame on SAFM for letting Cosi go!! The reason I returned to listening to 107.1 (SAFM) was because of Cosi! Why on earth would you dismiss him?? The three made a good combination. Cosi gave so much humour, wit, honesty, sincerity and loyalty to the show and made the am weekdays enjoyable to listen to. Cosi bought out the best in Bec and Lemo! Before switching to SAFM I was a listener of 102.3 however will now be checking out other stations that will suit better. Hopefully other stations will take Cosi on due to his unique talent especially for morning radio!!!

A great decision. SCA need to let go a few more of the Adelaide Radio has beens and self proclaimed celebrities. It’s time to move forward.

Political correctness gone mad. Maybe people listen to SAFM Breakfast Team as it’s speaks what the listeners and general public are thinking. Sack management for being so lame that they will not support the breakfast team, ratings were mentioned, good luck if you think you now have any hope of gaining audience, many will revolt and move on.

How funny would it be if Soda ended up at 107.1 SAFM brekky, with Cosi at Mix 102.3. And you might as well through Jody in at Nova 91.9 brekky to complete the rinse cycle….
