Jonathan Brown launches Browny’s Podcast via News Corp Australia

Nova Melbourne’s Breakfast co-host and former AFL player Jonathan ‘Browny’ Brown has partnered with News Corp Australia for a new weekly podcast, inventively titled Browny’s Podcast. 

In each weekly episode, Brown and his mates, ex-Hawthorn player Campbell Brown and broadcaster Dean ‘Deano’ Thomas, will discuss the games of the week, including the big marks, the big hits and the big headlines.

The podcast will also contain insights and anecdotes from their own lives and career highs and lows, News Corp said.

Brown said the podcast will feature a decent amount of banter, great yarns, solid laughs and the latest opinion.

“This podcast is about a group of mates having some fun while providing some footy insights. Hopefully the listeners enjoy the content as much as we enjoy putting it together,” he said.

News Corp’s general manager of commercial networks, Ainslee O’Brien, said the podcast was a great addition to News Corp’s NewsCast network.

“Jonathan Brown’s incredible popularity and likability will no doubt very quickly command a strong and loyal audience for his weekly podcast, along with his mates Campbell and Deano,” she said.

“Sport continues to be a key genre for us and one we’ve seen great success in. We’re confident Browny’s Podcast will become a must-listen for many Australians each week.”

The podcast comes out each Wednesday via the Herald Sun.
