Brands, podcasts, summits: Mamamia goes Upfront

Mamamia held its annual Upfronts get-together in Sydney this week, with the theme ‘An unfair share of her attention.’

Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer Mia Freedman opened with “Brands need friends in the right places in this highly fragmented media environment, and Mamamia is the friend in women’s ears and eyes and minds. We offer brands an unfair share of her attention.”

Upfronts showcased the single brand’s expansion on multiple digital fronts, to multiple generations of women, including over 50 podcasts with 1.5 million monthly network listeners (Source: Omny), online summits streamed to domestic and international audiences, and a website growing across beauty, fashion and family.

The content showcase included new podcasts, new summits, the inaugural You Beauty Awards 2023, multimedia series What My Family Looks Like, and the Mamamia Out Loud LIVE tour 2023

Here If You Need is a new podcast that puts women’s sports first, hosted by Olympic champion Cate Campbell and reporter Hayley Willis.

I Lost My Keep Cup is a new series for 2023, hosted by Mamamia creator Emma Gillespie, to help women and their homes make those incremental behaviour changes towards a more sustainable lifestyle.

HER by Sophie Cachia is a new series exploring sexuality and identity, with the renowned influencer and creator.

Hello Bump is the first-time parent series back by popular demand with a new season in 2023.
