ARN adopts RCS’ radio sales system Aquira

Former Editor & Content Director

As part of its efforts to enhance its commercial operations infrastructure, the Australian Radio Network (ARN) has signed on to use RCS’ Aquira service.

Aquira is a traffic system designed for local and national radio businesses, providing real-time access to sales and inventory data, as well as scheduling, billing and reporting options.

Tracey Gillan, ARN’s commercial operations director, said she was impressed with the improvements which had been made to the Aquira platform over the years.

“We saw significant improvements with the sales-fronted Aquira2Go, including visibility of live avails, to the platform’s digital capabilities, as well as the opportunity to have our billing and accounts receivable function contained within the platform,” she said.

“Easy integration with our CRM, Salesforce, as well as a developed API for the RadioMatrix platform, made Aquira an attractive option.”

Keith Williams, VP of RCS across the Asia Pacific also noted the value of the partnership.

“RCS and ARN have a long standing history together. Bringing traffic to our mix of software solutions solidifies our future together as we are both committed to Australian radio.”

RCS president and CEO Philippe Generali added” “ARN is a strong advocate for creative media and progressive technologies. Aquira will match ARN’s aggressive selling strategy in tandem with a full feature set in a tailor made for radio CRM platform.”

The deal came into effect on May 1.
