Amanda Lee confirmed in HIT Network Group CD role

Amanda Lee has been confirmed in the role of Fox Content Director & Group Content Director, Hit Metro, a job she has been acting in this year.

She joins the SCA Content Leadership Team.

SCA’s Chief Content Officer, Dave Cameron, has told Radio Today:
“Earlier this year SCA shifted our metropolitan programming approach to a highly localised model affording our local Content Directors greater autonomy and responsibility for their local stations.

“Alongside this, both Amanda Lee and Matt O’Reilly have been acting as informal team leaders for the Hit and Triple M metro networks respectively, to ensure national strategic consistency across each brand. They have both been very impressive in these informal roles and it has been a pleasure to see them develop over the past eight months.

“I am thrilled to officially announce that both Amanda and Matt will join the Content Leadership Team with Amanda joining as Fox Content Director & Group Content Director, Hit Metro and Matthew O’Reilly named as Triple M Adelaide Content Director & Group Content Director – Triple M.”

Amanda Lee recently talked about the leadership role of a content director at the RadioDays Asia Conference. She said:

“It’s about leading with empathy, always being their biggest fan, understanding who they are as performers, and what it is that motivates them to get out of bed at an ungodly hour of the morning.”

Amanda says the foundations of any strong Content Director relationship are

  • Trust, Respect & Understanding
  • Communication
  • Compromise
  • Honest & Genuine Feedback
  • Being a cheerleader and having fun
