Andrew Denton & Amanda Keller reunite on ‘Interview’

Andrew Denton has reunited with his former Triple M Sydney Breakfast co-host Amanda Keller on his television Interview show.

The intimate chat with WSFM’s Amanda host had 507,000 metro viewers.

Andrew and Amanda have a long history, ever since Keller joined his Seven’s talk show Denton in 1994 as a regular guest.

When the show ended, they landed together on Triple M Sydney and enjoyed both critical and ratings successes.

Amanda spoke about her time on the radio with Andrew, and how she never followed the traditional girl role of being the one to say things like “your out of line”.

“I’ve never had to pay that role, so I’ve started from that position.”

After 15 years of presenting Jonesy & Amanda on WSFM, Amanda admitted that she’s recently found it hard not to overshare her life on air.

“In 40 years of friendship, and despite having worked together in the hothouse environments of commercial radio and TV, Amanda and I have never had a cross word,” Andrew tells Radio Today.

“Believe me, this says more about Amanda’s good nature, than mine.”
