Alan Jones to be “Sliced and Diced”

As 2GB celebrated its 100th consecutive survey win in Sydney, November 21 – will be Alan Jones last day On-Air at breakfast.

As MRN celebrated the historic victory in the Sydney market on Tuesday, Alan Jones shared with Fairfax that he will forced Off-Air for major back surgery.

“I have had all sorts of problems for a lot of years and it’s just got hopeless at the moment”

His back problems stretch back to the 80’s when coach of the Wallabies. Three previous attempts to sort it out and quarterly injections havent done the trick.  Jones shared with Fairfax that he wanted to leave the op until the end of the year but that changed. “Pain has never killed anyone by the way, but this has got out of control.”

Alan Jones was quoted saying he wanted to be back On-Air “within weeks” not months.
