A show by any other name?

Even Lauren Phillips admits it’s a bloody good question: Will Clint Stanaway ever get his name in the title of Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren Breakfast show?

Stanaway does, after all, constitute one third of the team.

This often-debated issue was broached this morning, when Channel Nine veteran Tony Jones joined the show to share the five things he’ll miss most now that Stanaway has left the Nine Network to focus on his brekky radio job.

Jones said he’d miss Stanaway saying on any given day “Tone, I’m just gonna smash out a quick gym session. I’ll be in around four.”

He’ll also miss Stanaway saying after Round 1 of the AFL every year “Is this bloody season over yet?”

But Jones saved the best for last, saying the number one thing that will stick in his memory was Stanaway asking “Tone, do you reckon they’ll ever put my name on this Breakfast show?”
