Voting for the Readers’ Choice in Radio Today 30 Under 30 Awards closes tonight
You have just a matter of hours to vote in the Readers’ Choice poll for this year’s Radio Today 30 Under 30 Awards.
Voting is open now and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) tonight (Tuesday, September 14).
You can register to cast your Readers’ Choice vote here.
The winner will be the entrant who has collected the most votes from registered voters throughout the polling period.
The winner will be revealed, along with those who make the judges’ 30 Under 30 list, on Tuesday, September 21.
So far, there have been over 2,500 votes. While there is currently a clear leader, there is fewer than 10 votes separating #5 and #2 at this point. With a surge in last-minute campaigning, there could be a number of contenders in the running.
Radio Today’s editor and content director, Vivienne Kelly, said she had been pleased to see the industry’s youngsters ramping up their social media efforts over the past week.
“If you only looked at my LinkedIn feed last week, you’d think the only thing happening in the world was the 30 Under 30 voting,” she said. “It was so refreshing to see so much positivity, self-belief and innovative campaigning by our shortlist as they attempted to start gathering votes.
“Now there’s less than 24 hours for everyone to get their final votes across the line, so I hope to see even more support from across the industry.”
A reminder that you can vote for any of the 50 shortlisted finalists, listed below, in the Readers’ Choice poll.
“We’re really proud of this year’s finalist list, which boasts such a strong cross-section of companies, roles, skillsets and ideas for the future,” Kelly added.
The 2021 Radio Today 30 Under 30 Awards with SCA are supported by Australian Film Television and Radio School, ARN, Grant Broadcasters, Nine, NOVA Entertainment and Sony Music Australia.
