Triple M’s Mick in the Morning throws Melbourne’s biggest Full Moon Party

Hundreds of Triple M listeners swapped Melbourne‘s chilly winter for a balmy taste of Bali last Friday afternoon, as the Mick in the Morning Breakfast show hosted its Full Moon Party at General Assembly on South Wharf.

The event transformed the riverside venue into a tropical playground, with listeners embracing the Balinese theme in Hawaiian shirts, singlets and leis.

One lucky attendee walked away with the ultimate prize – a trip to Bali thanks to Avalon Airport.

Hosted by Mick Molloy, Nick Riewoldt and Rosie Walton (with Titus O’Reily unavailable), the afternoon featured live entertainment, meet-and-greets, a packed dancefloor and an unlikely return to the DJ booth for Triple M’s Dangerous Dave Williams, who kept the crowd going well into the evening.

Reflecting on the event during yesterday’s Breakfast show, Nick Riewoldt said “My voice has gone! I still haven’t recovered.”

Mick said “General Assembly was turned on its head! Well done to everyone who turned up and embraced the spirit, everybody looked fantastic.”

Listen to Mick in the Morning with Roo, Titus & Rosie on Melbourne’s 105.1 Triple M from 6-9am each weekday, also on LiSTNR.
