Adam & Donny’s Locked Away for $10K now underway

After attracting hundreds of entries from across Townsville and North Queensland, STAR 1063’s Adam & Donny’s Locked Away for $10K has officially kicked off this week.

Over five days, contestants will be handcuffed together as they face a series of challenges, eliminations and surprises, battling to remain in the competition and give themselves a chance to win the grand prize of $10,000 cash thanks to Harvey Norman Townsville.

Hosted by STAR 1063 Breakfast duo Adam & Donny, the social experiment will put friendships, relationships and teamwork to the test, creating compelling content both on-air and online as contestants navigate life while Locked Away.

The Locked Away duos are:

Xavier & Jeanette – high school sweethearts who are putting their relationship to the ultimate test. If they win the $10,000, they’ll put it towards a special overseas trip where Xavier will finally meet Jeanette’s family in PNG.

Cyril & Summer – the besties who are backing their friendship, humour and competitive spirit to help them survive whatever challenges come their way. The prize money will be used so they can finally move out of home.

Charlene & Charmaine – twin sisters who know each other better than anyone, though five days handcuffed together could be the ultimate sibling test.

Thorn & Cage – brothers who are bringing family loyalty, rivalry and determination into the competition as they chase the $10,000 prize to tick things of their sick dad’s bucket list.

Then there’s Kristie and Tom … with Kristie having stepped straight off an international flight. Battling jet lag before the challenge has even begun, she’s determined to go the distance. If they win the $10,000, they’ll put it towards helping Kristie fulfil her dream of becoming an Australian citizen.
