Nikki Clarkson behind new media and marketing podcast

Southern Cross Austereo executive Nikki Clarkson is the brains behind a new podcast that explores the current marketing landscape and changing consumer behaviour.

The radio and television network announced the new series today, titled Brand New World, with the first four episodes already available through PodcastOne Australia.

The show will be hosted by PwC Australia partner and chief creative officer, Russel Howcroft, who has become the public face of marketing through his appearances on ABC TV’s Gruen.

The first episode features the founder of the agency Thinkerbell, Adam Ferrier, who is also a psychologist, brand strategist and an authority on behavioural economics.

Clarkson, SCA’s chief marketing and communications officer, said the new podcast is the network’s way of helping marketers navigate “this changing landscape”.

“The podcast will explore why great marketing and advertising will deliver successful outcomes for organisations both now and in the future,” she said.

“We are thrilled to have Russel host the series, and with his line-up of amazing guests, you can expect some robust discussions and new insights for all of us to learn from.”

Future episodes in the series will feature Peter Field, Mark Ritson and Kimberlee Wells on building a strong brand during a crisis and the role of brand resilience.
