New podcast for Tassie ears only

The ABC has launched a news podcast for Tasmanian ears only.

ABC TassieCast takes listeners behind the stories that matter to people who live across the state, from King Island to Hobart.

Every Friday, award winning journalist and host Airlie Ward will unpack the local story dominating the headlines by chatting to one of the ABC’s top local journos and digging into what makes this story so important.

Ward says “Tasmanians love their ABC and we’re stoked to give them something new. It shows the public broadcaster’s commitment to expanding digital formats that meet the audience where they are.”
