Duncan Campbell heads up new world-first radio consultancy model

Reporter

A new career chapter officially begins today for former ARN Chief Content Officer Duncan Campbell as he launches a consultancy built exclusively for the radio and audio industry.

CD Media Consultancy is a specialist advisory firm with exclusive access to MoodiSonic AI, a broadcast-specific intelligence platform developed in partnership with Singapore-based Max Dragon Technology.

MoodiSonic has been built specifically for radio, to provide deeper analysis of programming, talent, audience behaviour, competitive positioning and content strategy.

This latest venture builds on the consultancy business Campbell founded a year ago.

Campbell – whose ARN contract recently wrapped up after 15 years with the network – will be supported by industry experts including Buzz Knight, Phil Dowse and Mike Sheppard, who will help broadcasters, media groups and investors navigate the rapidly evolving audio landscape.

And in what’s believed to be a world first for a business model of this kind, CD Media Consultancy will offer select clients a No Win, No Fee guarantee.

Campbell says “After 15 years as Chief Content officer at ARN launching CD Media Consultancy with support from some of the biggest and most respected names in the industry is exciting.”

We offer something that is unique with the combination of human expertise and the AI insights of MoodiSonic. This is designed for the future and built to give clients a winning advantage.”

The company is talking to stations and networks which have plateaued or whose Breakfast shows require external insights and expertise.

Campbell will be personally involved in every client engagement.
