Chantelle Otten’s Sex Therapy back for season two
Audible’s Sex Therapy: Sessions with Chantelle Otten has been renewed for a second season with casting commencing ahead of a 2024 release.
Season one, released in April this year, gave listeners intimate access to open and honest sex therapy sessions with host and consulting producer Otten.
Chantelle is a psycho-sexologist, relationship expert and the founder of Australia’s largest sexology practice. She is the author of The Sex Ed You Never Had, and the director of the Australian Institute of Sexology and Sexual Medicine.
As a leading sex and relationship therapist, her mission is to open conversations that are usually considered ‘taboo’ and make them fun, enjoyable, and conversational. Her season one anonymous, recorded sex therapy sessions, saw real patients with real questions, issues find paths to sexual pleasure.
Otten said:
“My day-to-day sessions are usually completely private, so to be able to tell authentic and important stories to such a large audience with Audible has been such a huge honour. I’m excited to continue this journey with my listeners in season two of Sex Therapy, as we explore more authentic and important stories together.
The path to a patient breakthrough is a really sacred process for me. But, everything we do in therapy is designed to lead our listener to their own breakthrough as well – their own revelation. The absence of visual elements allows their minds to fill in the gaps, drawing from personal experiences and forming deep connections with the stories they hear.”
