Deadline for Radio Today 30 Under 30 extended

Staff Writer

Is there anything better than a deadline extension when you desperately need more time?

(“Yes,” you respond, “there’s plenty of things which are better than a deadline extension, we just don’t have time to list them all!”)

Well, we have excellent news – we’ve extended the deadline for the Radio Today 30 Under 30 Awards.

A number of up-and-coming audio stars have contacted us over the past few days, tired and overwhelmed by the current state of the world and begging for more time to clear their heads and polish off their entries.

So you now have until 11:59pm (AEST), Sunday 29 August to submit your entries.

The judging period will then take place between Monday, August 30 and Sunday, September 5.

Finalists will be announced on Wednesday, September 8, with voting also kicking off for the Readers’ Choice Poll.

Winners will be revealed on Tuesday, September 21.

The Radio Today 30 Under 30 Awards will champion the next generation of young professionals working in the audio industry.

The awards will showcase those who can demonstrate a genuine contribution to the audio industry via their current employer or, if self-employed, their business.

Above all, Radio Today is searching for fresh voices with a clear vision for the future of the audio industry and the challenges it faces in the decade ahead.

Last year, 50 future leaders from across the sector were shortlisted ahead of the reveal of the Class of 2020 last November.

You can also get some additional inspiration from some early entrants here.

To enter, visit the Take 2 Media awards platform and start your submission.

The 2021 Radio Today 30 Under 30 Awards with SCA are supported by Australian Film Television and Radio School, ARN, Grant Broadcasters, Nine, NOVA Entertainment and Sony Music Australia.
