100km, five days, 10K raised for the Cancer Council by TMFM’s Dan Saunders

Dan Saunders spent last week walking 100kms, as well as hosting his afternoon show on TMFM Tamworth, raising money for Cancer Council NSW.

By the time his blistered feet ran the final fifty metres, the tally raised had ticked over $10,000.

There was plenty of support on hand for the final, toughest 20kms. Tamworth City Dance Academy were there to send Dan and friends on his way with a guard of honour. At the 16km mark the Totally Workwear crew joined through to the end and Dan’s radio colleagues and even community station 88.9fm Tamworth Radio turned up with a ribbon to run through and celebrate.
