Join the vibrant team at KIIS 973 in Brisbane! We’re on the lookout for an Assistant Content Director who is not just motivated, but truly passionate about radio broadcasting and pop culture.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our content creation and production, working closely with our Content Director to ensure our programming remains fresh, compelling, and relevant to our target audience. Your creativity and organisational skills will be put to the test as you help drive our overall strategy and maintain the highest standards of quality across all the KIIS and iHeart platforms.

About The Role:

  • Be passionate about the KIIS brand and pop culture!
  • Assist in leading the team to deliver outstanding, relevant, and topical content that creates moments and talk.
  • Collaborate with the teams, plan and manage content that drives brand strategy.
  • Linking of day parts when required.
  • Creative writing for promo scripts.
  • Collaborating closely with other key stakeholders (Commercial, Activations, Marketing, iHeart) to deliver creative content that delivers successful business outcomes.
  • Monitoring and Music checks and assisting in music scheduling when required.

About You:

  • Operation of programming/scheduling systems – Zetta and G Selector.
  • Operation of studio equipment and panel abilities.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and able to balance multiple tasks at once.
  • Understanding of what is required to create content that fits the strategy.
  • Exceptional organisational and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
