We have an exciting opportunity for a Breakfast Co-Host/Promotions Coordinator to join the Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands team based in Nowra. Enjoy what this region offers including white sandy beaches and beautiful rainforests, as well as close proximity to Sydney, Canberra and Wollongong.
About The Role:
- Working as part of a duo on the 949 Power FM Breakfast show. Creating entertaining, informative, engaging content.
- An opportunity to work with an experienced collaborative cohost who can help you take your content to the next level.
- Own the market by performing out-of-studio activations, MCing events and experiencing the local area to build a positive and well-known profile within the communities but also help to create local content.
- Conduct on-air shifts both automated and live as rostered. This may include a regular weekend shift.
- Acquire a solid understanding of 2ST/949 Power FM, their programming and marketing objectives and commercial sales goals.
- Work with the promotions manager and content teams to facilitate station promotions and activations.
About You:
- Experience on-air preferably as a cohost for a breakfast show.
- Advanced knowledge of digital media products including social media, content marketing and digital audience engagement.
- Experienced in the use of Zetta, Audition, Audata and Microsoft Office or have the ability to learn and master new programs quickly and proficiently.
- An open motor vehicle license in Australia.
- Please include a recent air check.
- Minimum of 1 year in a similar environment – radio, TV, or media promotions.
