Vance Joy live in Nova’s Red Room in Brisbane

Nova’s Red Room returned to Brisbane this week with an exclusive performance by multi award-winning Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy.

On Monday night Vance performed his biggest hits as well as music from his upcoming third album ‘In Our Own Sweet Time’ live for Nova’s Red Room at a private and intimate rooftop location in South Bank.

Nova winners and guests were among the first in Australia to hear Vance perform his new tracks live before bringing his ‘The Long Way Home Tour’ to Australia from Saturday September 17 this year.

Before Vance Joy took to the stage, Nova 106.9‘s afternoon announcer Maddy Rowe performed for guests under her musical alias GENES.

It follows her crowd slaying performance last weekend at the Broncos match at Suncorp Stadium.

Maddy performed her songs ‘Super Single’ and ‘Crumble.’

Vance Joy also gave a shout out to Nova 106.9 newsreader Ange Anderson, dedicating a song to her, after she revealed during a breakfast radio interview with him and Ash, Lutty & Susie O’Neill that she was a huge fan and even walked down the aisle to one of his songs!
