Triple M’s Jane Kennedy ends up in hospital after falling off a ladder

Former Assistant Editor

Jane Kennedy has been a notable absentee from Triple M’s National Drive show recently, after she had an accident which saw her end up in hospital.

Calling in to Kennedy Molloy to explain herself to co-host Mick Molloy and anchor Dangerous Dave, Kennedy told her funny but ultimately shocking story.

“You need to come clean and tell me, and the nation, what’s happening!” demanded Molloy.

“I had been all ready to work on Monday, I had practiced my ‘Cocaine Cassy’ accent,” explained Kennedy.

Kennedy then proceeded to explain that she had been trying to strap a wildlife camera to a tree, which she had bought from Aldi (the camera, not the tree).

She was up a latter in her Ugg boots when she slipped and fell. “I was in my iso-uniform at the time, which involved Ugg boots. A proud Triple M girl… and it was raining!

“Next minute I woke up with a rather concerned Rob Sitch next to me, in the trauma unit of the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.

“I hit my head on the concrete… on the tiles. And I’ve got post-traumatic amnesia. I have to this day, no memory about getting to hospital.”

“Apparently I was talking gibberish,” she said, explaining that in that memory gap she didn’t even know what coronavirus was.
